2018. 10' x 8'. 00:05 Computer, ultra short throw projector, vegetation, huge boulder.

Materializing the satellite imagery, that we are so use to seeing on our digital screens, onto a large boulder is to try to create a loop from earth to digital, back to earth.

The video playing on the boulder is of the Sol de Mañana, a geothermal field in Sur Lipez Bolivia that spans over 10 km². The time span is 32 years, but has been sped up to .5 second. The lights in front are activating the vegetation in the foreground, blowing in the wind.
